Core Rules
Here's a view of the core rules. Download the PDF for the full version.
No rule is absolute.
A simple rule is a more effective rule.
All rules have a cost that cannot outweigh its benefit.
A rule must have a benefit and target its most broad value.
All rules have context and must function within that context.
No rule stands alone.
A rule requires definition.
Rules must have known and relevant consequences.
A Rule must be practical, not idealistic.
A Rule must be based on as much truth as is known.
A rule must apply to all; Those who make rules cannot be completely immune from their rule.
Any rule that fails to meet its purpose has failed as a rule and must be amended or discarded.
OUR STORY
We've all complained about bad rules - but did you ever wonder why we've never seemed to get better?
Society has made tremendous advances. We now fly - something thought impossible. We now travel around the world, don't fall off, and trade with other nations daily. We share science and do acts considered magical on our phones.
So, why are we no better with our rules than we were thousands of years ago? Why don't we know a bad rule and have the means to call it out? How did we advance so far and miss this?
